Responsibilities:

  • Monitor system performance, user activity, and infrastructure trends to inform optimization strategies, capacity planning, and prioritization of IT initiatives.
  • Define and implement data privacy and security protocols to ensure systems handle sensitive information responsibly and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to deploy and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to establish and manage access controls, user permissions, and authentication protocols for systems and networks.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities for system monitoring, patch management, backups, and incident response workflows.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, network topologies, maintenance schedules, and security procedures to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead and participate in meetings with stakeholders to review infrastructure strategies, gather input, and report progress on system upgrades, security initiatives, and operational goals.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess system performance, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage and optimize IT infrastructure, with a solid understanding of system administration workflows and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with system monitoring and analytics tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog, or Splunk.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud platforms and infrastructure tools including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining security, privacy, and compliance standards across networks, servers, and user systems.
  • Skilled in conducting system audits, gathering user feedback, and recommending infrastructure enhancements to improve reliability, scalability, and user experience.
