System Analyst

Responsibilities:
- Analyze system performance, user interaction data, and business processes to inform system improvements, feature optimization, and prioritization of IT projects.
- Define and implement data privacy and security protocols to ensure systems handle sensitive data responsibly and comply with relevant industry regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to integrate secure, scalable infrastructure for system design, deployment, and monitoring within production environments and third-party systems.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to design and enforce access controls, data permissions, and authentication mechanisms for IT systems and tools.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation in data processing, system workflows, and deployment processes.
- Maintain thorough documentation of system architectures, configurations, data sources, deployment strategies, and decision-making rationales to support transparency and team alignment.
- Lead and participate in meetings with stakeholders to review system strategies, gather feedback, and report progress on experiments, performance metrics, and deployment milestones.
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets, define system performance metrics, and guide system improvements.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy IT solutions, with a solid understanding of software development workflows and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with system monitoring and analytics tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus.
- Proficiency in working with cloud platforms and tools for system management, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience implementing security, privacy, and compliance standards in IT systems, especially in regulated or sensitive data environments.
- Skilled in conducting system evaluations, incorporating user feedback, and recommending improvements to boost system performance, scalability, and user impact.
